Well, that's how I've been since Feb. It's gonna be April soon. I am so so burned out. With office work and stuff at home.

Jakarta Jan' 2011
This year, my sister and I took our parents for a trip to Jakarta. It also includes a day trip to Bandung. I must say that I really enjoyed myself. Better than Hanoi last year. Not bcoz I didn't bring the kids, but bcoz I think Jakarta is a great place to shop for kain batik pasang and telekung.
I also like the food there. Like this traditional Javanese food called
Nasi Timbel. Simple food.
And of course a trip to Indonesia will not be complete without trying its Nasi Padang. We had this at Garuda Restaurant. The taste is like 20 times better than Sari Ratu. Like seriously ;)
On the 2nd day we took a day trio to Bandung, which was about 2.5 hrs drive. Yeah, a lot of shopping there too. Pasar Baru and the many FOS along Jln Riau. Also went to Chihampelas but honestly I don't like the stuff they sell there.
We had dinner @ the R&R on the highway. Masih lagi sempat shopping kat FOS kat situ hahaha :)
On the 3rd day, we toured Jakarta - surrounding places & city centre ie Sunda Kelapa Harbour (it was built in the 1500 and still in operation), Old Batavia and Mall of Indonesia.

One thing I didn't shop for - handbags. Gotta say I have lots of them at the moments.
I will definitely go to Jakarta/Bandung again ;)

Uthman Affan is 2 today

Yupp, for 2011, we are thinking of buying a new house.
Yesterday we went to Sering Ukay, Serenia Ukay and Cahaya SPK. Today we went to Kota Damansara and then to Ukay Perdana again.
I really like Cahaya SPK... it's a corner lot and it's huge. But it's in Shah Alam. Sering Ukay pulak is not within our budget walaupun rumah2 dia cantik... corner lots are RM1 million above. We saw one that we like in Serenia.... same price as the one in Cahaya SPK, but a lot less smaller. So how do I choose? locality or size of the size?
We also ronda2 dekat rumah En Adam, who is hubby's boss... it's in the Residence, KD. Very nice house indeed.
Hopefully our dream of having a second house comes true this year. Ameen.
